Description:
Alltech Services, Inc. provides senior program and project management consulting services to the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) Office of the CIO, (OCIO).
The mission of the OCIO is to provide information technology leadership, guidance, and implementation that advances the Office of Justice Program's mission, improves management effectiveness, ensures effective internal controls, and delivers superior results, IT services and solutions to OJP, its constituency, and U.S. citizens.
The Department of Justice policy and guidance provides leadership to implement the mandates of the Clinger-Cohen Act, OMB Circular 130, and several other federal programs to improve Information Technology (IT) management.
To provide the products and services necessary to meet its mission and strategic objectives, the OJP OCIO is implementing a Management Framework that is the foundation of policies and procedures that consistently guide the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of the work performed. The guiding tenets of the Management Foundation are the laws and regulations promulgated by Congress, the Executive Branch, the Department of Justice, and the Office of Justice Programs. The Strategic and Tactical Planning process of the Management Framework provide the link between this guidance and the Management Processes used to control and manage the work to be accomplished. There are currently twelve Management Processes that are in use, being developed, or to be developed.

Alltech's role is to guide the development of the OCIO Management Framework and provide senior advisory services to the OCIO. Specific subject areas included:
- Issue resolution and policy development
- Gap analysis
- Earned Value Management
- Portfolio and project classification
- SOP development, and Change management
