Alltech Services, Inc. provided senior advisory and consulting services to the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) Program Management Office (PMO). The VISION of the UFMS Program is to improve the Department’s financial management performance by providing the Components with an enterprise-wide Financial Management System (FMS) and standard processes that enable effective management of financial resources in support of the Department’s mission, objectives, and strategic goals. The MISSION of the UFMS Program is to implement a secure, integrated, and unified financial management system, supported by standard processes and compliant with applicable statutes and regulations. The scope of the UFMS Program includes replacing six core financial legacy systems across DOJ with a unified and integrated financial management and procurement system, CGI-AMS Momentum®. CGI-AMS Momentum® is a Financial Systems Integration Office (FSIO)-certified COTS product with the following functionality: Core Accounting/General Ledger, Financial Management Reporting, Payment Management, Receivables Management, Funds Management (Budget Execution), Cost Management, and Procurement. The implementation efforts cover the complete system development life cycle and involve significant Business Transformation elements.

Alltech led the effort to design and implement Project Management and Project Control Processes to develop and monitor the WBSs and Project Schedules for the many projects that comprise the UFMS Program. Alltech participated in developing the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) that was implemented for the Program. Alltech also provided strategic and tactical planning support and mentored various UFMS staff.
